18th Annual Lakers All-Access Event Featured Exclusive Panels on Hulu Documentary “Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers” and Past Champions, Including Surprise Ring Ceremony for Slava Medvedenko

The Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC) hosted its 18th Annual Lakers All-Access event at Crypto.com Arena on Monday, January 23, 2023. At this official Lakers event, guests enjoyed memorable activities that included touring the Lakers locker room, meeting players and alumni, playing on the actual home court for the Lakers, and experiencing an insider’s look at one of the most storied NBA franchises of all-time.

Speakers and event participants included: Jeanie Buss, CEO & Governor; Michael Cooper, former Guard, Los Angeles Lakers; Antoine Fuqua, Director, Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers; Pau Gasol, former Forward, Los Angeles Lakers; Robert Horry, former Forward, Los Angeles Lakers and Commentator, Spectrum SportsNet; Bill Macdonald, Play-by-Play Announcer (Moderator); Kevin Mann, Executive Producer, Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers; Slava Medvedenko, former Forward, Los Angeles Lakers; Scotty Pippen Jr., Point Guard, Los Angeles Lakers; Kurt Rambis, former Forward and Senior Basketball Advisor, Los Angeles Lakers; Austin Reaves, Shooting Guard, Los Angeles Lakers; Byron Scott, former Guard, Los Angeles Lakers; Sasha Vujacic, former Guard, Los Angeles Lakers; Lonnie Walker IV, Shooting Guard, Los Angeles Lakers; Jamaal Wilkes, former Forward, Los Angeles Lakers; James Worthy, former Forward, Los Angeles Lakers and Analyst, Spectrum SportsNet.

Following dinner on the court, the evening program began with a panel interview centered around the Hulu documentary “Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers” with Jeanie Buss, Director Antoine Fuqua, Executive Producer Kevin Mann, and Robert Horry. The second panel covered past champions and international players Pau Gasol, Slava Medvedenko, and Sasha Vujacic with a special ring ceremony for Medvedenko, who previously auctioned his championship rings to support the Ukrainian war effort. Gasol will also be celebrated this March for his Lakers jersey retirement.
