123rd U.S. Open Credential Application Now Available

The USGA has begun the media accreditation process for the 2023 U.S. Open Championship, which will be held June 15-18 at The Los Angeles (Calif.) Country Club. Media should use the following link to apply:

123rd U.S. Open Media Credential Application

All applications must be completed by the appropriate assignment editor, sports editor, director, producer or similar position. If you are not the assignment editor, please forward this to the appropriate person. The USGA will review each request and respond via email as applications are approved or denied. An application does not guarantee that credentials will be granted.

The USGA will accept just one application per media outlet. The application should be submitted for the entire roster of staff, so please coordinate accordingly. Freelance media are not eligible for credentials.

The USGA strives to provide media with the best working environment possible. Regulations contained in the application reflect this commitment, so please be sure to read all the information provided.

Please Note: The U.S. Open application for credentials is a two-step process. Media outlets must register for an account on the first page. A link to the second step of the application will be sent via email. To be considered for a credential, outlets must complete both steps of the process.

The USGA has secured a media block of hotel rooms at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel (11461 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90049) at a rate of $259++ per night. If approved for credentials, applicants will receive instructions in their approval email on how to book rooms. Applicants are encouraged to book quickly as the number of hotel rooms is limited and rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The USGA and United Airlines are pleased to offer airfare discounts for media members traveling to the 123rd U.S. Open.

The application window closes Wednesday, May 31.
