Celebrating Unsung Heroes: Six Community Organizations Awarded $50,000 In Grant Funding Through Super Bowl Lvi Legacy Program

The Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee on Sunday will honor six community organizations chosen to each receive a total of $50,000 in grant awards for their tremendous impact throughout the region. The winners were among the original 56 Champions announced in June as part of the Super Bowl LVI Legacy Program and were selected to receive the additional award for their outstanding contributions in the community. The grants aim to help the organizations further their missions and the long-term impact of their work.

The six organizations represent communities from across the 88 cities in LA County and include 2nd Call, Angel City Sports, Jovenes, Loving Hands Community Care, Our Own Non Profit Inc. and Project Blue. All six organizations will be recognized this Sunday, December 19, 56 days before Super Bowl LVI, as part of a pregame ceremony at the Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks game at SoFi Stadium. The ceremony will take place on the field prior to kickoff and will celebrate the organizations for the tremendous work they are doing across the Los Angeles community.
