OUR STORY

Since 1995, we’ve been shaping Los Angeles into the most coveted stage in the world for sports and entertainment.

At the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC), our mission goes beyond just bringing events to LA — we harness the power of these moments to create lasting economic, cultural, and community impact.

As the nonprofit officially designated to attract, secure, and support major events in the region, we champion Los Angeles as more than just a destination. We position it as an experience — one defined by global reach, local vibrancy, and a deep commitment to legacy.
Whether it’s the roar of a sold-out stadium or the behind-the-scenes connections with businesses and communities, LASEC ensures each event leaves a lasting impact.

From iconic venues like SoFi Stadium, Crypto.com Arena, Dodger Stadium, and the LA Memorial Coliseum, to an unmatched network of teams, partners, and civic organizations — we make sure the world’s biggest events shine in LA.

Los Angeles is well into a decade unlike any other, in which major events including Super Bowl LVI, 2022 MLB All-Star Game, 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship, WrestleMania 39 and the 123rd U.S. Open Championship have already generated more than $1 billion in economic and community impact for the Los Angeles region.

Looking ahead, the Los Angeles region now approaches a stretch of major sports events unmatched by any other destination with NBA All-Star 2026, 2026 U.S. Women’s Open, FIFA World Cup 26™, Super Bowl LXI in 2027, and the 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games.

This is a defining era for Los Angeles — and LASEC is proud to help lead the way.
