More than 150 local youth participated in Grow the Game of Soccer Youth Clinic, a community legacy program of the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee in collaboration with the Play Equity Fund, on February 28, 2026, at Cal State LA.
The Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee, in collaboration with the Play Equity Fund, Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), and Angel City Football Club, hosted a Grow the Game of Soccer Youth Clinic on February 28, 2026, at Cal State LA. The free clinic gave more than 150 youth, ages 6–12, the opportunity to build confidence and develop their skills on the pitch while fostering a lifelong love of the game. As we approach 100 days to go until FIFA World Cup™, the clinic series is leveraging the spotlight of the largest single-sport event to bring together Los Angeles’ professional soccer clubs and local stakeholders to elevate skills, inspire passion, and expand access to the sport across the region.
