The Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee Launches Road To World Cup Community Day Presented By Amgen

The Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee launched the first Road to World Cup Community Day presented by Amgen at Gloria Molina Grand Park in Downtown Los Angeles on March 14, 2026. The inaugural event brought together volunteers from across the region, local artists, community partners, and local leaders to celebrate community spirit and foster civic pride as the Los Angeles region prepares to welcome the world for FIFA World Cup 2026™ this June.

As part of the celebration event, volunteers collaborated with prominent local artists – Aise Born, Angel Acordagoitia, JPmurals, and Mr B Baby – to decorate oversized soccer ball installations inspired by Los Angeles’ vibrant soccer culture and excitement for the eight FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches coming to the region this summer. Following today’s celebration, the soccer ball installations will be placed throughout LA County at sites representing the 10 official Los Angeles World Cup 26 Fan Zone locations to serve as a colorful visual celebration of the global game and the diverse communities that make up the Los Angeles region.
